Micro and Miniature Molding

Engineering horsepower, time, and capital have gone into our micro and miniature molding efforts. We work hand-in-hand with you to prototype molds and try new materials during development processes to give you the solutions you need.

We have strategically aligned ourselves with multiple state-of-the-art mold making shops. Depending on the customer's requirements, tooling can be made in the USA or a Low Cost Region (LCR). Technical Industries Inc., as well as our customers, have worked in the medical, dental and high tech fields, and understand tight tolerances, optical finishes and complex surface parts. Molds have been designed and built for parts with the largest dimension as small as 1.5mm with a core pin diameter of 0.16mm as well as large multi-cavity molds with hydraulic core pulls.

The tool makers offer mold design support and repair capabilities. We can take electronic file transfers in IGES and other formats as well as paper copies. Files are downloaded to them from us after a review and we work hand-in-hand with them to give you the precision mold for your product.

Each industry creates new needs, new challenges, and new opportunities. Risk Control is essential when molding critical parts. Working hand in hand with our customers, we participate in setting project goals not only for the mold cost but also for the piece price per part. Our collaborative efforts result in achieving cost targets for the customer which is especially critical to them when taking into consideration the internal rate of return they desire for the entire project.
